On October 22, U Mumba achieved a nail-biting victory over Jaipur Pink Panthers, finishing 37-36 in the 101st match of the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 (PKL 2025).


This narrow win propelled U Mumba into fourth place on the points table, enhancing their prospects of securing a top-four finish.


Conversely, the Jaipur Pink Panthers fell to seventh place after enduring their ninth loss of the season, effectively eliminating their chances of reaching the top four.

The match commenced with Ajit Chouhan scoring the first point for U Mumba, while Nitin Kumar responded for the Panthers. The early stages of the game saw both teams evenly matched.


The Panthers initially took the lead with a two-point raid by Nitin, followed by a successful tackle from Deepanshu Khatri that extended their advantage. U Mumba, however, managed to stay close by scoring a bonus point.


As the Panthers maintained their momentum, U Mumba leveled the score at 8-8 with an impressive Super Tackle. The teams continued to exchange points, with neither side establishing a significant lead.


The pivotal moment arrived when U Mumba executed an All Out, surging ahead to a 19-12 advantage. By halftime, they had established a solid 22-12 lead.


After the break, U Mumba maintained control of the match, preventing the Panthers from making a comeback. Ajit Chouhan quickly made his presence felt in the second half, scoring three points through a Super Raid and achieving his Super 10.


U Mumba continued to dominate, leading 29-23 at the Strategic Time Out. The Panthers began the final quarter strongly, executing an All Out to narrow the gap to 29-26. Despite a late surge from the Panthers, U Mumba held their composure to secure the victory by just one point.
